Okechukwu: Olympic Eagles Will Bounce Back Vs Denmark

By Johnny Edward:

Dream Team vice captain, Azubuike Okechukwu, has vowed to be at his best when Nigeria take on Denmark on Saturday, in the quarter-finals of the men's football event of the Rio 2016
Olympics, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The Samson Siasia's side lost 2-0 in their final group game to Colombia in Sau Paulo, a game which the Yeni Matalysapor defensive midfielder admitted wasn't a good game for his teammates.

Okechukwu also stated that the team learnt some lessons in the defeat.

The 20 year old who has featured in all three games so far for the Olympic team in the tournament however vowed that he and the rest of the squad will be at their best when they take on the Danish side on Saturday.

"Some games we WIN, some we LEARN. Wasn't a good game against Colombia.

I'm coming back stronger #rio2016." Okechukwu wrote on his Twitter handle, @aazzuu14.
