Okocha Hails ‘Too Hot’ Tottenham, Predicts Tough Title Race

Former Super Eagles captain Austin Okocha has stated that Tottenham Hotspur could overhaul Leicester City's five-point lead at the top of the English Premier League.

Spurs capitalised on Leicester's 2-2 draw against West Ham  by defeating Stoke 4-0 at the Britannia on Monday night.

A brace each from Harry Kane and Dele Alli sealed the convincing win for the North London club.

Reacting to Spurs' win, the former Nigeria and Bolton Wanderers superstar wrote on his Twitter handle: "Tottenham looking too hot. Five points behind Leicester, four games left, I smell something. Could this go all the way to the last day?"

Leicester City next game is at home against Swansea City, while Spurs will entertain West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane next Monday.

  1. "Tottenham looking too hot. Five points behind Leicester, four games left, I smell something. Could this go all the way to the last day?" Okocha, this is the talk of those who hate Leicester and cannot stand Leicester beating all the so call 'big' clubs from the start of the league, and as of this moment until Saturday are 5 points ahead of all the packs. Maybe had it been it is Tottenham, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd or Liverpool that are 5 points ahead with 4 matches to go, all these haters will be saying its all over. As it is Leicester, Tottenham could overtake them. They were happy when a grand plan was hatched to red card Jardy who is their danger man and has been tormenting defenders and is one of the highest goal scorer in the EPL. We the neutrals are ready for people like Okocha who feel Leicester is not worthy of the EPL trophy and the $140,000,000 that goes with it, plus a Champion league slot. We are following proceedings and will swim or sink with L.E.I.C.E.S.T.E.R.

Kai, Nigerians! Where did the idea of seeing every comment as hate coming from? The white pple who own these things we have no single share in them, and who see us as clown-supporters don’t even think and call hate about personal opinions like this. Even if you and Okocha are friends, I guess your response mis-forming the minds of the readers with hate. He simply said his mind without emotions, say your in same manner. We explicate this kind of antagonism when it comes to mutually shared political, economic, social, religious misfortune: Jonathan/Buhari politics, B.Haram attack, corruption war, fuel scarcity Nigerians are always divided on hate ground. Is this how colonialism has finished us?
