Home Eagles winger Osas Okoro believes there’s a lot more to come from him after he was named the man-of-the-match award in the Home Eagles’ African Nations Championship 1-1 draw against Tunisia on Friday in Kigali.
Okoro provided the assist for Chisom Chikatara who put Nigeria ahead few minutes after half time before Ahmed Akaichi restored parity midway to earn his side a crucial point.
“I’m happy that I was named the man-of-the-match but I would have loved the team to win,” Enugu Rangers star Okoro told Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 25-year-old also admits that the Carthage Eagles were tough.
“It was a keenly contested game. They were tough but we showed our class too,” he added.
“We look forward to winning the final group game against Guinea to qualify for the quarter-finals.”
