Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh has praised his players for their performance in Wednesday's friendly against Angola, but admitted his charges are not ready to win the competition, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by the Palancas Negras in the encounter.
Warri Wolves midfielder opened scoring for Nigeria six minutes before the end of the game, before the Angolans rallied back in the 88th minutes.
Oliseh admitted afterwards that his wards did well in the game, but told Brila FM they were not ready yet to conquer the rest of the continent.
"I'm happy with the physical input of the players, playing in such high altitude, but I must say we are not ready," Oliseh said.
The Home Eagles will face Cote d'l voire in another friendly next week Monday before their departure to Rwanda for the African Nations Championship.
