Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, says eight of his home-based Eagles stars are good enough to play for the main Super Eagles side, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Eagles were eliminated from the African Nations Championship on Tuesday following a 1-0 defeat against Guinea at the Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu.
Despite their early ouster from the competition, the former Juventus of Italy midfielder said some of the players have impressed in the competition.
”Eight of the players in the team are good enough to play for the main Super Eagles,” Oliseh told Completesportsnigeria.com.
”They have proved their class here and will surely get their chance.
”They have learnt a lot playing in this competition and it will be important for them to continue their development.”
Nigeria will face Egpyt in the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifiers in June.
