Panenka was coined after Czech footballer, Antonio Panenka,  who scored the winning penalty in his country's shootout win with a softly chipped ball up the middle as the goal keeper dived away in the final of the 1976 European Championship against West Germany.

It has been made popular in recent years by the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Andrea Pirlo and Sergio Ramos.
Chikatara hit the headlines after scoring a hat-trick in Nigeria's opening game in the competition against Niger.

Nigeria will win the on going CHAN 2016 edition and am sure if Chlkatara didnt relent he will be best scorer of the tournament

  2. What is Oliseh doing warning a player against taking Panenka penalty?  Allow these boys to express themselves. Let him practice it and perfect it. This goes to show how skillful this guy is and he is already 4goals better. Roger Milla commended this boy and I believe scouts are watching and reading about him now. If his 2 match fantastic display continue consistently even if he does not score, then this is a Super Eagles' material and an oversea contract is awaiting him. So please Oliseh, I know you like it done safe and conventional, but a little bit of garnishing it will promote the image of the team. Don't be old fashion. Wetin sef.
