Nigeria U-23s have finally arrived in Manaus, venue of their first game against Japan in the men's football event of the Rio 2016 Olympics.
This was revealed by media officer of the team, Timi Ebikagboro, on Twitter Thursday night.
According to Ebikagboro, the team landed at exactly 2.19pm local time (7.19pm Nigerian time).
"Dream Team touch down Manaus 2.19pm.
"Dream Team going through immigration formalities to God be the glory," Ebikagboro wrote on his Twitter handle.
The team play their first match against Japan at 9pm Brazilian time (2am Friday Nigerian time), less than seven hours after their arrival.
