Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has confirmed that he has joined Turkish club Kasimpasa on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
Omeruo spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough and is not likely to ever be a Chelsea regular.
The Super Eagles centre-back has the option of making the move permanent if he imresses Kasimpasa at the end of the loan deal.
He confirmed the move on Twitter on Tuesday with a simple tweet, writing: “New challenge…#Kasimpasa.”
Thr club finished 13th in the Turkish Super Lig last season and Omeruo says he wants to help them do better this term.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner will also hope to get regular playing time as he hopes to impress new Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh.
