Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi scored his first goal of the season for Lazio in Thursday's 3-2 Europa League Cup win against nine-man Saint Etienne and dedicated it to his fatherland Nigeria.
The Nigerian international making his 21st appearance in the competition for the Biancocoleste restored parity for the hosts in the 22nd minute after Mustapha Bayall, who was later sent off in the 72nd minute, had given the visitors a sixth minute lead.
Onazi wrote on Twitter: "Three points in the bag with one goal for my beloved #NigeriaAt55. Thanks to our fans! #ForzaLazio."
Wesley Hoedt and Lucas Bigla were the other scorers for Lazio on the night.
Onazi who was yellow carded in the 25th minute was replaced in the 74th minute by Danilo Cataldi.
With this win, Lazio are tied on the same four points with Michael Babatunde's Dnipro but with a superior goal difference to the Ukrainian side who
defeated Rosenburg by a lone goal in the other fixture in the group.
