Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has expressed confidence that the U-23 Eagles will win the bronze medal match against Honduras in the men's football event of the Rio Olympics.
The Nigerians lost 2-0 to Germany in Wednesday's semi-final in Sao Paulo.
Reacting to the defeat to the Germans, Onazi who left Lazio for Turkish side Trabzonspor this summer, attributed the U-23 Eagles' loss to Germany to hard luck.
"Hard luck to our team last night but I know we are going to get the third place right. May God grant them the special grace amen," he wrote on his Twitter handle.
Meanwhile, Brazil will hope to make it fourth time lucky when they face Germany in Saturday's gold medal match.
They have lost the last three finals of the men's football event of the Olympics.
