The Flying Eagles continued their preparation towards their 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Burundi by defeating the U-23 Eagles 2-1 on Thursday.
Daniel Etor opened the scoring for the U-23 Eagles but Funsho Bamgboye equalised for the Flying Eagles before Victor Osimhen scored the winner.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Burundi Football Federation confirmed that the qualifier against the Flying Eagles will take place at the Prince Louis Stadium in Bujumbura on Saturday, 21st May, starting from 3pm Burundi time (1pm Nigeria time).
The Flying Eagles are the defending champions of the U-20 AFCON after winning last year's edition in Senegal.
