Nollywood superstar, Nkem Owoh, popularly known in Nigeria's movie industry as Osuofia for his roles in the comedy thrillers 'Ikuku' and also 'Osuofia', has backed the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles, for victories in their friendly games against DR Congo and Cameroon.
Sunday Oliseh's team will play against DR Congo, formerly known as Zaire in a friendly today (Thursday) before a date with Cameroon in three days time.
"Friendlies are meant to help in team building, so I hope the objectives of these matches will be met," Osuofia starts as he prepares for yet another movie job.
"The two countries; DR Congo who were Zaire and Cameroon, are strong African footballing countries. So I want to wish the Super Eagles of Nigeria good luck in their matches.
"There must be unity too amongst them for good results to come their way," the Enugu State-born actor who starred in the popular Nollywood movie, 'FIFA Agent' that highlights the lifestyle of a tricky man who decides to become a con artist and pretend to be a licenced FIFA Agent told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Nkem Owoh, a graduate of Engineering from the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) who won the 2008 African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, is a fan of English Premier League champions Chelsea.
