Media officer of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye has disclosed that the team's overseas-based players will be in camp on Tuesday, June 2nd.
He made this know in a chat with Sports Radio, 88.9, Brila FM.
"A week from now the Super Eagles foreign base players are expected to be in camp ahead of the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Chad. And most of the players have shown hunger to come and play the match but the coach has asked them to relax and have some rest since they are just coming from a hectic season."
Ibitoye further informed that the home-based players will commence training in Abuja on Thursday.
It would be recalled that Keshi released a 15-man overseas-based players. And among the notable omissions are Mikel Obi, Emmanuel Emenike, Osaze Odemwingie and Brown Ideye.
The notable big name players invited are Rabiu Ibrahim, Vincent Enyeama, John Ogu, Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo and Godfrey Oboabona.
Other teams expected to slug it out with the Eagles include Egypt and Tanzania.
