By Johnny Edward:
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has ruled out Kelechi Iheanacho and five other first team players out of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
City, who are in search of a sixth successive away win, were however handed a major boost ahead of the fixture with the return of Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta.
Pellegrini however didn’t reveal to journalists at his pre-match conference on Friday the nature of Iheanacho’s injury.
Iheanacho has made two substitutes appearances for the Citizens, scoring a stoppage time goal that earned his side a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last month.
“At the moment, Mangala, Clichy, Delph, Silva, Bony and Kelechi are the six players injured.
“Kompany is back, Hart is back, Nasri is back.
“I’m not sure 100% sure when Mangala and Silva will be back, it depends on how they improve – maybe David can be fit for next game, we’ll see next week.”Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
