Pillars Face LMC Sanction Over Fans Attack On Enyimba

Kano Pillars could face sanctions from the League Management Company following the unruly and violent conduct of their fans inWednesday's 2-1 home defeat to Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The fans  Completesportsnigeria.com learnt, went beserk after the game with Enyimba's bus driver reportedly sustaining a head injury after he was hit with an object.

Security  operatives at the the Sani Abacha Stadium, Completesportsnigeria.com also scooped,  had a difficult time curtailing the fans who threw objects into the pitch at different times in the game.

Recently the LMC banished Giwa FC to Ilorin and fined them heavily following the crowd trouble that marred their week 12 fixture against Rangers at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.

Pillars were looking to upstage Rangers at the summit of the NPFL with a win in Wednesday's encounter but were shocked by their determined guests who ended a run of two games without a win by securing a stunning victory in Kano, their first since the NPFL era.

Pillars went into the lead through Rabiu Ali on 20 minutes but were pegged back by goals from Nzube Anaezemba and Ike ThankGod.

    Terrible behaviour by the Kano Pillars fans. Their team came to Akure on sunday and beat my beloved Sunshine Stars at the Akure township stadium and nothing happened. I dont know why they have to go berserk. They should be barnished and fine heavily for this act.
