Pillars in Talks With Wolves’ Najere

–Complete Imenger Jnr, Mohammed deals
By Sab Osuji:

Nigerian league defending champions, Kano Pillars are in talks with Warri Wolves striker, Musa Najere, completesportsnigeria.com can report.

Najere has fallen in the pecking order at Wolves who crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup race over the weekend despite a 2-1 win over visiting A.C Leopards of Congo.

The home win was not enough to cancel out a 3-0 first leg defeat in Kinshasha two weeks ago.

Najere is understood to have held talks with officials of Kano Pillars and even trained thrice with them.

"Najere is one of the attackers we need, we have held successful discussions with him", an official of Kano Pillars told completesportsnigeria.com Sunday morning.

Barnabas Imenger Junior is already with us after coming over from Lobi Stars.

"He started training with us last week. We also have another player, Mohammed from Abia Warriors.

"We've also concluded talks with him. The good thing is that all of them are strikers because that is the area we are lacking since the incident where the likes of Mohammed Gambo was shot by armed bandits," the Pillars officil added.

Completesportsnigeria.com checks further reveal that no fewer than five players of Kano Pillars have been warned to shape up or be ready to be shipped out in the coming mid-season transfer period.

"I don't know their names, but letters to that effect have been dispatched to them," the source added.
