Tony Pulis has signed a new one-year deal at West Brom and he is looking forward to a bright future at the Hawthorns.
Pulis, who joined the club in January last year, has just reached 1000 games as a manager. He says he is not sure whether some of his players will be fit to play this weekend.
West Brom lie 13th on the log having lost only one league game at home this season. Pulis will be hoping to avoid a second defeat when they host Manchester City – who currently top the table on goal difference – on Saturday at the Hawthorns.
"We’ve got one or two knocks and niggles that we won’t be sure about tomorrow, but I don’t want to say any names," Pulis said.
"But I’ve been used to building things up slowly over a period of years. I’m not looking to bring lots of players in.
"The football club has got to be pushing for the top 10 in a framework that’s not ridiculous."
Pulis however maintained that the Baggies must be focused as they battle for a top 10 spot in the Premier League this season.
"There’s two different ways to achieve success. If people come in and spent lots of money you’d be silly not to go out and buy the best players," said Pulis.
