Rabiu Ali: Pillars Back On Track

By Adeboye Amosu

Kano Pillars midfielder, Rabiu Ali, believes the Glo Premier League champions are back to form following Wednesday's 2-1 home win against Gabros.

The Pyramid City side have come under severe criticism for their poor start to the campaign.

But back-to-back wins against Abia Warriors and Gabros have lifted the spirit of the side following a barren spell which saw the Masu Gida lose three games in a row.

And Ali, who is one of the club's top performers this season, insists they are happy with their new found form which he believes can help them defend the title successfully.

''We are delighted to be winning our games again and we want to thank our fans for their total support,'' he told completesportsnigeria.com.

''We have shown with our recent performances that things are falling into place once again.

''It was tough coming under intense criticism for our recent performances but all that has made us stronger.
''Hopefully, we can continue on this good form and successfuly defend our title this season."
