Kano Pillars attacking midfielder, Rabiu Ali, has told Completesportsnigeria.com that the league title holders have everything to play for when they travel to Enugu Rangers Wednesday in a match day -15 fixture.
Ali said having dropped points at home in their 2-2 draw with Dolphins, it behoves on the Sai Masuda boys to recoup the points at Rangers.
"Enugu Rangers are one of the top teams in the league, they have good players and that has reflected in the results of their last two games which they won.
"We're not expecting an easy match, in fact, we know its going to be a difficult game but we are going to do our best," the 2014 CHAN Eagles star said.
He continued: "we dropped points at home in our last game with Dolphins.
"For us, it was a disappointing result because going two goals up and later giving away the lead was frustrating.
"But that's in the past now as we look forward to recouping the points against Rangers".
Ali has scored four goals for the league defending champions this term.
He stressed that the presence of Coach Okey Emordi on their bench will be an added advantage since he knows Rangers inside out, having been their coach before crossing over to Pillars.
"We've a good team, the players are in high spirit and determined to win.
"We also have a sound coach who knows Rangers well because he joined us from there."
The fair-skinned midfielder also expressed his surprise at being left out of the national team call-up exercise after helping the home-based Super Eagles win bronze medal at the 2014 CHAN tournament in Cape Town, South Africa.
"I don't know their reason for not looking in my direction, but I believe my time will come again.
"I'm only concentrating on my games, trying to help my team do well in the league".
Kano Pillars will be without Azeez Sobowale when they confront Rangers at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Wednesday.
Sobowale is on one match suspension as a result of yellow card offences.
