Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has claimed that his next target is to guarantee third place and a spot in next sason's Champions League group phases as the 2015/2016 season gradually winds down.
Asked at his Friday's press conference ahead of Sunday's home clash against West Ham if nerves are starting to appear around the club, the Italian responded that the team are calm about their remaining games.
Leicester are top of the table, seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham. The Foxes need only three more wins to be confirmed as the Premier League champions but Ranieri insists the immediate aim is to avoid the Champions League play-offs after confirming at least fourth place.
"The next target is to secure the Champions League group stages. I love the Champions League music!
"Why be nervous? We concentrate. We have to fight with a smile as our job is done," Ranieri said.
"We are safe. That's a miracle. I'm happy when people that follow us are happy."
On whether he cried after his team's 2-0 win against Sunderland, Ranieri said it was not tears and also added that there is no injured player from the game.
"My eyes shine but it was not tears. Everyone is okay (after the Sunderland game)," Ranieri insisted.
Ranieri then reiterated his hope of continuing as coach of Leicester.
"I would like to stay (for the long term). If the chairman is happy, then I'm happy. When you have a very good chairman, sooner or later, you build a good building. Everything starts from the boss," Ranieri stressed.REVERSE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION Within 3Days And Make Her Happy Again!! Guaranteed!!! All NATURAL! No Side-Effects! Click Here!now.
