Ranieri: Vardy’s Goal Against Liverpool Was Unbelievable!

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri heaped plaudits on striker Jamie Vardy for his 'unbelievable' goal in the 2-0 win over Liverpool at the King Power Stadium Tuesday evening.

Vardy's brace ensured the Foxes remain on top of the Premier League.

Shortly after he doubled the lead from closer range to keep Leicester top of the league and seal a massive win.

"Amazing. The first goal was unbelievable," Ranieri told the BBC.

"We played very well and pressed a lot against a very good team. Jamie is very fast and can create a lot but it was unbelievable how Mahrez found him and how he had the time to see the keeper out of the goal and scored a fantastic goal.

"The team is in good condition. Now it is important to recover the energy because we have to run a lot against Manchester City. We are free of pressure. The players have a good feeling," the former Chelsea claimed.

  • The whole world are supporting Leicester even fans of other clubs are secreting wishing that it become so. Maybe only the regular 1st 4 minus Chelsea that are against Leicester taking the title. The Premier league are only just beginning to take them serious but it seems it is too late. This is week 24 and Leicester are atop the league with 3 points gap from the 2nd team. The Spanish fans wished that they have a spanish Leicester where it will not be Real Madrid, Barca and Athletico Madril. Leicester at present has one of the best goalkeeper, midfield, defence and coach. They have a board that is willing to spend money for more players. The owner love football too. Leicester city are heavily behind the team with all available support. Let all the haters start supporting Leicester now as the train is moving ahead ahead.
