Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says his side will be gunning for revenge when they face Manchester United in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
The league champions lost 2-1 to the FA Cup holders in the season-opening Community Shield in August.
“They beat us in the Community Shield – now we want revenge,” Ranieri told his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
The Italian the praised United’s youngsters ahead of the match.
Ranieri added: “Rashford for me is an amazing player. Also Martial. They have very good young players.
“We are fearless. Why be scared to go to Old Trafford?”
Ranieri claims that his players are in good physical shape as they prepare to face Manchester United.
“I think there’s no fatigue. They’re used to playing every three days,” he added.
“Our fitness is much better than a month ago at the start of the season.”
Ranieri has had a strained relationship with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, but the Italian says there will be no hard feelings.
“I love the red wine. If [Jose Mourinho] offers I go and drink with him,” he said.
“My relationship with Jose Mourinho is fantastic.”
