Rio 20i6 Football: Germany Coach, Hrubesch Labels Nigeria Tough Semi-final Opponent

Germany Olympic football team Head Coach, Horst Hrubesch, has stated that he can't wait to face Nigeria U-23s in Wednesday's semi-finals match in the men's football tournament of 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Germany thrashed Portugal 4-0 in Saturday's quarter-finals and will face Nigeria in the last four.

On their part, Nigeria saw off Denmark 2-0, with goals from skipper John Mikel Obi and Aminu Umar.

Looking ahead to Wednesday clash, Hrubesch, a former Germany international, praised Nigerian team's impressive showing so far in the tournament.

"I believed that Nigeria would beat Denmark,"  Hrubesch told the German Football Federation official website. 

"They have a strong team and there is a lot of quality there. We’re looking forward to facing them in the last four," Hrubesch reiterated.

    Nigeria should expect a tough match but at the end Heaven has recorded victory for NIgeria.
