Rivers United Defender, Douhadji Gets First Togo Call-up‎ For Tunisia Clash

Rivers United centre- back, Joseph Yaovi Douhadji has been called up by Togo for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against Tunisia, reports

It is the first time the lanky defender has been called up to represent the West African nation.

Douhadji, a regular player of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Rivers United, is a part of the 25-man squad named by Hawks coach, Tom Saintfiet for the double header against the Carthage Eagles. 

Togo have enjoyed a smooth start to the 2017 AFCON qualifying campaign, winning their first opening two games in Group A against Liberia and Djibouti.

Tunisia will host the first leg of the qualifier on March 26 in Rades.
