Rivers United Defender, Douhadji: I Want To Help Togo Qualify For 2017 AFCON

Rivers United defender, Joseph Yaovi Douhadji, hopes he can help Togo secure a place in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The towering centre-back is part of the 25 players invited by Hawks gaffer, Tom Saintfiet for the qualifiers against Tunisia later this month.

Douhadji told Completesportsnigeria.com he is looking forward to playing in the Africa's biggest soccer competition next year.

"I'm looking forward to linking up with the Togolese national team for the first time," Douhadji ‎ told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"We are in a good position to qualify for the Nations Cup after winning our first two games and it will be great to be part of the squad.
