By Richard Jideaka, Abuja:
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will jet out to Cameroon to give technical assistance to the Super Falcons in their quest to defend the African Women Cup of Nations they won two years ago in Namibia, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Super Falcons will leave for Cameroon on Wednesday via Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos for the AWCON which kicks off on Saturday in two centres.
Rohr who will be accompanied by the NFF Director, Technical Bitrus Bewarang is expected to give technical support to the Florence Omagbemi-led coaching crew of the Super Falcons in an effort to retain the cup.
"Rohr who has been helping the team with some talks and lectures will be with the team may be during their group matches or later in the competition. I think his wealth of experience will benefit the team in Cameroon," Bewarang said.
