Italian club AS Roma have completed the transfers of two Nigerian players, Sadiq Umar, 19, and Abdullahi Nura, 18, on a permanent basis, reports.

Both players signed four-year contracts that run till 30 June, 2020.

The Giallorossi, who also confirmed the signing of Stephan El Shaarawy on a permanent basis from AC Milan, paid Serie B side Spezia €2.5 million fee for each player, according to the official website of the club.

The Nigerian duo spent the 2015-16 season with Roma’s Primavera squad, as Alberto De Rossi's side went on to win the Italian youth championship.

In November striker Sadiq made his debut for Roma's first team, going on to score two goals in six appearances for the Giallorossi.

In May, Nura underwent corrective surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament and internal meniscus in his right knee.

The 18-year-old is expected to be out for the rest of the year while Umar may be loaned out to Serie B side Crotone.
