Roma’s Nigerian Youngster Out For Six Months After Knee Surgery

Nigerian right-back Abdullahi Nura on Tuesday underwent corrective surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament and internal meniscus in his right knee, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The 18-year-old, who joined Roma Primavera from Spezia in the summer of 2015, is expected to be out for the rest of the year, according to AS Roma's official website.

"Nura is expected to be out for around six months," a statement on the club's official website announced.

The Kaduna -born right back joined the Giallorossi from Serie B side Spezia.

Abdullahi scored 6 goals in the youth league last term and is expected to remain at the club until June 30, 2020 just as his teammate compatriot Sadiq Umar.
