Portugal and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been named The Best FIFA Men's Player for 2016 at The Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich on Monday.
Ronaldo beat off competition from Argentina and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and Atletico Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann to claim his fourth individual award.
It was a memorable year for Ronaldo as he helped Madrid claim their 11th UEFA Champions League.
He also captained Portugal to the European Championships in France.
For The Best FIFA Women's Player, USA's Carlo Lloyd was picked ahead of Melanie Behringer of Germany and Bayern Munich, and Marta of Brazil and FC Rosengard.
In December, Ronaldo was awarded the 2016 Ballon d'Or, also finishing ahead of Messi and Griezmann.
Following Leicester City's fairytale run to the English Premier League title, Italian coach Claudio Ranieri was awarded The Best FIFA Men's Coach award.
For the women's category, Silvia Neid of Germany won the award for The Best FIFA Women's Coach after leading the German women's team to the gold medal in the women's football event at the Rio Olympics.
Colombia's Atletico Nacional was awarded with the FIFA Fair Play award while The FIFA Puskas Award went to Malaysia's Mohd Faiz Subri who plays for Penang.
The FIFA Fan Award 2016 was given to the supporters of Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool with Brazil's Falcao clinching The FIFA Outstanding Award.
