Super Eagles striker Gbolahan Salami hopes his performances in the few games he has played for the Super Eagles and also his good form for club, Warri Wolves, are enough to guarantee him a place in the national team under the reins of Sunday Oliseh.
The striker is mindful of competition for shirts in the Eagles and he tells Completesportsnigeria.com that he will keep working hard at his game.
“There is a new coach and the desire to be in the national team is there. Players will hope to impress him (Oliseh).
“For me, I will keep working on my game at my club, believing it will be good enough to earn me future invitations.
“I have played a couple of games for the national team and I look forward to working with coach Sunday Oliseh,” the former U23 star tells Completesportsnigeria.com.
Salami scored the first of Nigeria’s goals in the 2-0 win against Chad in the Eagles’ first game of the 2017 AFCON qualifiers on June 13.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
