Salami Scores Seventh League Goal For Kuopion

Super Eagles forward Gbolahan Salami was the match winner for his Finnish side Kuopion Palloseura who defeated IFK Mariehamn 1-0, reports.

The former Warri Wolves star struck his seventh league goal of the campaign from the spot after goalkeeper Walter Viitala had brought down Ilmari Niskanen in the penalty box.

Gbolahan's compatriots Azubuike Egwuekwe and Paul Onobi were also in action.

The result took Kuopion Palloseura to fifth in the Finnish top fligh with 32 points from 21 games.

They face current league leaders HJK Helsinki who drew goalless away to HIFK next Monday.
