Sampdoria teenage defender Stanley Amuzie believes the Nigeria’s Olympic Team will qualify for the CAF U23 Championship despite holding a slim 2-1 advantage going into the second leg against Congo.
Amuzie was one of the standout performers for the Dream Team in Sunday’s win and he is banking on the team’s unbeaten run away from home to advance to the group stages of the competition.
The Olympic team are yet to lose a competitive game away from home under Samson Siasia.
They defeated Gabon 4-0 in Libreville and Zambia 2-0 in Lusaka, and Amuzie believes they can be third time lucky.
“They (Congo) were lucky to have conceded only two goals in Port Harcourt,”Amuzie began in a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We just have to work on our lapses and hope we take our chances in the second leg,” he concluded.
The return game is billed for Dolisie on the weekend of 31 July to 2 August, with the winners set to join hosts Senegal in the eight-team tournamentREVERSE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION Within 3Days And Make Her Happy Again!! Guaranteed!!! All NATURAL! No Side-Effects! Click Here!now.
