Alexis Sanchez and Laurent Koscielny were the latest injury casualties as Arsenal and Norwich City battled to an entertaining 1-1 draw in the English Premier League fixture at the Carrow Road on Sunday.
The Gunners top scorer limped off in the second half clutching his hamstring, an indication he could join the likes of Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin on the treatment table.
Arsenal started the game brightly pinning the hosts back in the early parts of the match.
The Gunners however suffered a setback in the 13th minute when reliable centre-back Koscielny suffered a hip injury and had to be replaced by Gabriel Paulista.
The North London side took the lead in the 30th minute through their German midfielder, Mesut Ozil.
Norwich City goalkeeper, John Ruddy, gave the ball away to Alexis Sanchez who laid it for Ozil to slot home from inside the area.
To their credit, the hosts didn’t give up and were rewarded for their efforts two minutes before the break with Lewis Grabban scoring the equalizing goal for his side.
Arsenal suffered further setbacks in the 62th minute when Alexis suffered a hamstring injury and was replaced by Joel Campbell.
Both side’s fought hard to find the winner in the second half, but in the end had to share the spoils.
