Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has attributed their 3-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday to team work and not just individual brilliance.
Ighalo scored a brace against the Kops before he was substituted in the 87th minute and the former Udinese and Granada spoke on what helped the Hornets who rose to the 7th position after the game.
Ighalo made it 12 goals for the season and 28 for the calendar year with a brace at Vicarage Road, the first of which was set up by his captain.
The duo have created more goalscoring chances for each other than any other combination in the Premier League this season, and Ighalo acknowledged that they are working well together.
"From the first minute you could see that we were after the first goal. We had no fear," Ighalo told Sky Sports News.
"I just make runs in behind and I know that Troy can find me. We have a connection."
"From the start its a team effort, you can see the way we got the goals. Its a great team performance from the start to the finish," the striker admitted.
Ighalo also commented about his box of dribbling skills in the opposition half.
"Its something I practise a lot. I know many defenders will take note of that and start making me," the Eagles striker said with a smile.
Watford's other goal was scored by youngster Nathan Ake. Ighalo had 33 touches of the ball with a pass accuracy of 53.3%.
