Scottish winger Ikechi Anya has admitted that Watford is lucky to have Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo in their strong attacking options.
Odion Ighalo’s 83rd-minute winner was his 12th of the season and his ninth in just six league games, and Anya says the ‘Orns are fortunate to have the 25-year old.
“Ighalo has been brilliant all through the season, but now people are starting to realise just how good he is, so I’m really happy for him,” says Anya.
“It was a massive three points, the fact we came away with a clean sheet was a merit to the defence and luckily Ighalo popped up with the goal.”
“With our strike force, Troy, Vydra and Ighalo, any one of those are capable of scoring a scrappy goal or a spectacular goal, and luckily, it was Ighalo,” he said.
