Nigeria's sports ministry final realised their mistake after the second boxing coach was finally allowed to join the boxing team here at Rio 2016 on Saturday.
Aduragbemi Olalehin arrived in Rio, but Complete Sports was unable to confirm why he could not join the chief coach Tony Konyegwachi in the ring when Efe Ajagba scored his stunning knockout win over his opponent, Paul Nigel of Trinidad and Tobago.
Complete Sports can disclose that the issue of a single coach accompanying the boxer had nearly caused a rumpus amoung the coaches on the eve of the Games when the chief coach was allegedly dropped for his assistant.

But the issue was later resolved in favour of the chief coach, Konyegwachi.
Konyegwachi had continued to insist here that it was not normal nor acceptable for only a single coach to be in the corner of a boxer during a global tournament.
He had to enlist the support of a friend to accompany him to the ring against Ajagba on Sunday.
The ministry bungled the preparations of many teams to these games and it is no wonder why Nigeria is now getting the poor results the country have been getting.
The wrestling team also suffered similar treatment with their training partners initially left behind before they finally joined them last week.
