Senegal qualified for the final of the men’s football event of the 2015 All Africa Games here in Brazzaville after they beat host Congo 3-1 in the semi-final on Tuesday.
Cheikhou Dieng put Senegal ahead in the 16th minute before Ibrahima Keita made it 2-0 in the 37th minute.
In the second half, Mervel Ndockyt pulled one back on 55 minutes for Congo to make it 2-1.
The Congolese went in search of the equaliser and came close on two occasions but the Senegalese were able to clear their lines.
Then in the 81st minute, Keita made it 3-1 to send Senegal into the final.
Senegal will face either Nigeria (who they drew with in a group match) or Burkina Faso in the final.
