Sharks captain Odinga Odinga says he relishes the prospect of coming up against Gbenga Ogunbote, his former coach at the club.
Ogunbote severed ties with the Blue Angels recently, to pitch tent with Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.
3SC and Sharks will clash on Wednesday at the Lekan Salami Stadium in what will be the first meeting between the two sides since Ogunbote's departure.
And Odinga who has nothing other than positive words for his erstwhile gaffer, is looking forward to the game.
"It will be strange to come up against coach Gbenga Ogunbote whom I shared a lot of good moments with during his time with us," the dark skinned player hinted Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I learn a lot under his guidance and he is coach every player will want to work with. I know he is going to feel the same way too, but we can't help the situation.
"We are professionals and we will put friendship aside for the entire duration of the game."
The two sides have enjoyed contrasting fortunes in recent weeks with 3SC yet to taste defeat since Ogunbote's arrival.
