Sharks Lose Out On Appeal, Get Bigger Fine And Banished To Enugu

By Adeboye Amosu:

The League Management Company has ordered Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt to play their next three home matches at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu, starting with match day 37 fixture against Kwara United on Sunday, November 8, 2015, reports completesportsnigeria.com.

The decision was sequel to ruling of the Nigeria Football Federation's (NFF) Disciplinary Committee on an appeal filed by the management of Sharks following LMC's ruling on the abandoned match day 36 fixture against Nasarawa United in Lafia.

The LMC had earlier fined Sharks N3m, awarded the match to Nasarawa United and also docked the Blue Angels three points and three goals from the already accured points.

But the Disciplinary Committee rose from their sitting over an appeal by Sharks and ordered the club to pay N5m, be banished to a neutral ground and also forfeit three goals and three points to Nasarawa United.
