–Hints no serious changes in the team that won the first leg match
National U-23 Eagles Coach Samson Siasia has sent a warning signal to his opponent in this weekend’s All Africa Games qualifier, Gabon, saying they should expect nothing short of tough game as he re-affirmed that his players will not underrate the team despite beating them 4-1 in the first leg match played couple of days back.
Speaking to Complete Sports yesterday, the former Super Eagles handler said he had taken his time to study the Gabonese very well and will not take it easy with them when both teams clash on Saturday at the Abuja National Stadium.
“In a situation like this, I will always tell my players not to expect easy game because we beat them in the first leg and in their own country for that matter, so they will be looking for every means to retaliate but we are not going to allow that”, says the Dream Team Coach
“I have also told them that they should not underrate the Gabonese because I have taken my time to study them and I can see that they are a dangerous side, so we have to be at our best to be sure that we win the match.
The Gabonese were expected in Nigeria on Wednesday for the match billed to hold on Saturday but the Nigeria Football Federation could not be reached to confirmed their arrival as the spokesman’s line was not responding.
Meanwhile, Siasia has informed that there is no going to be any serious changes in the team that won the first leg match 4-1 but confident that there have been improvement in the team since the away match.
