–For AAG qualifying match against Zambia
National U-23 Eagles coach Samson Siasia may be forced to draft in some of the National U-20 Flying Eagles players to his team ahead of the 2015 All Africa Games qualifier against Zambia after playing a goalless draw in the first leg match on Sunday in Abuja.
The U-23 Eagles have not been too impressive in goal scoring and Coach Siasia who confessed that the attackers were goal shy in the Sunday match, is doing everything possible to ensure the team live up to expectation in the second leg match billed to hold in Lusaka.
The return leg match will be played on April 11 according to the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
According to a very reliable source in the team, Siasia has already informed the Head Coach of the Flying Eagles, Manu Garba about his intention to draft in some of his players but the NFF still need to be briefed on the decision to bring in some of the players who just won the African Youth Championship title in Senegal.
“We need to beat Zambia in the return leg match and part of what Coach Siasia is doing now is to see how two or three players from the Flying Eagles winning team can be drafted into the team”, says Complete Sports source.
Though Siasia has not made his plans known, the former Super Eagles handler has admitted that he needs to work more on the team ahead of the April 11 match.
Meanwhile, Complete Sports can report that the former Nantes of France striker has warned all the players in camp to work harder or forget the team, saying there is no room for lazy player in the team.
He has also assured that his team will go for nothing short of victory in the return leg match, insisting Nigeria is not out yet despite the draw played in Abuja last Sunday.Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria
