Simon Scores In Gent Draw, Haruna Benched In Anzhi Win

Super Eagles forward Moses Simon scored a late equalizer for Gent in their 2-2 home draw against Zulte-Waregem in Friday’s Belgian league clash.

Simon netted in the 90th minute to help Gent secure a draw in the game.

Sven Kums scored Gent’s first goal, while Christoph Lepoint and Steve De Ridder were on target for Zulte-Waregem.

In Russia, Nigerian midfielder Lukman Haruna was an unused substitute for Anzhi who beat Dinamo Moscow 2-1 away.

Alexey Koslov gave Dinamo an 18th minute lead, but goals from Lorenzo Ebicilio and Ilya Maksimov in the 53rd and 54th minutes won the game for Anzhi.

In Denmark, Paul Onuachu featured for 90 minutes in Midtjylland’s 2-1 away loss to AGF.

Aleksandar Cavric shot AGF into the lead on three minutes before Mikkel Duelund drew Midtjylland level with two minutes left in the first half.
