CS Sfaxien of Tunisia midfielder, Kingsley Sokari, has backed his former club Enyimba to progress into the money spinning group stage of the CAF Champions League at the expense of Etoile du Sahel, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Aba giants won the first leg 3-0 last Sunday at their makeshift home ground, the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
They will look to progress into the next round when they face Etoile in the return leg fixture next Tuesday at the Olympic Stadium, Sousse.
And Sokari who spent two years with the Peoples Elephant before linking up with Etolie's rival, CS Sfaxien, is looking forward to seeing Paul Aigbogun's men move further in the competition.
"Enyimba is my former club and it will be great to see them qualify for the group stage of the CAF Champions League," Sokari told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I was happy when I heard the result of the game in Port Harcourt. It put them in good position to progress further in the competition.
"I just hope they will not get complacent and complete the job in the second leg."
