Kingsley Sokari has told completesportsnigeria.com that he will finally link up with Esperance after the Nigeria versus Congo African U-23 Championship qualifier next weekend.
The midfielder recently joined the Tunisian outfit from six-time Nigerian Champions, Enyimba Football Club of Aba, where he has spent the last two seasons.
Sokari is among the five new players called up by U-23 Eagles coach Samson Siasia for the crucial return leg fixture against the Congolese in Pointe Noire.
He revealed to completesportsnigeria.com that he has delayed his departure to the North African country due to his engagement with the dream team.
“I’m joining Esperance immediately after the Congo game,” the 20-year-old divulged to completesportsnigeria.com.
“Though there are still some little details to be finalized, everything will be sorted out hopefully by next week.”
The midfielder will join another Nigerian, Emem Uduok, at the club.
