Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah is looking forward to the start of the 2015/16 season of the German Bundesliga.
Back home in Nigeria, the German Bundesliga which kicks off on Friday, August 14, will be broadcast live on television by Chinese-owned pay tv company, StarTimes.
Completesportsnigeria.com sought the views of the Nigerian star who is keen to set the German Bundesliga alight this season.
The striker knows expectation back home is enormous especially as he looks forward to play more regularly for the Super Eagles.
“The season starts this weekend and I’m looking forward to our first game against Schalke 04.
“It will be a very good test but I’m ready for the challenges ahead.
“It makes me proud that my family, friends and fans are watching me. I get strength and motivation having this in mind,” Ujah stated.
“Live games on television is big business and I’m happy that my family and fans will get to see me and other African players in action this season.
“The German Bundesliga is big and the TV coverage is exciting. Hopefully Nigerians will enjoy their viewing of the matches.”
