Nigeria youngster Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute in Manchester City’s 3-1 Premier League win against West Ham at the Etihad on Sunday.
Goals from Raheem Sterling (brace) and Fernandinho in the first half sealed the win for City.
Michail Antonio scored West Ham’s only goal in the second half.
City who have now won three straight games and gone top in the league table on nine points.
City went close as early as three minutes through Aguero whose run and low strike went just wide.
The home side didn’t have to wait long as they took the lead on eight minutes through Sterling who tucked in Nolito’s cross.
City continued to press for a second goal and were rewarded in the 18th minute as Fernandinho headed in Kevin De Bruyne’s set piece.
De Bruyne almost made it three in the 33rd minute but his effort deflected just past the post.
In the early part of the second half, City thought they had scored the third goal but Nolito was flagged for offside.
West Ham reduced the deficit on 58 minutes after Antonio towered over Gael Clichy from the back post to head in to make it 2-1.
A minute later City made their first change with Alexandre Kolarov replacing John Stones.
In the 68th minute Aguero was played in by De Bruyne but hit his shot into the side net.
With six minutes left, Adrian denied substitute Samir Nasri whose shot was destined for the back of the net.
