Stoke City seems to have cooled their interest in Nigerian import, Victor Moses following reports that another Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in his services.
Moses spent last season on loan at the Britannia and the Potters are keen on landing him on a permanent basis from Chelsea.
But with Tottenham now rumoured to be circling around the former Wigan Winger, they have now shifted their attention to West Ham midfielder, Stewart Downing according to a report in the Stoke Sentinel.
Stoke City Mark Hughes has been keen on making the move for Moses a permanent one, with suggestions they would try and secure the Nigerian as part of any deal that took goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to Chelsea with rumours the Blues are keen to sign the Bosnian as cover for Thibaut Courtois.
The talented winger was a popular figure among Stoke fans last season as he impressed during his time with the club, but he was hampered by injury which restricted his game time.
