Stoke City are expecting a formal bid from Chelsea for Asmir Begovic and will ask the Premier League champions to include Victor Moses in any deal, telegraph.co.uk reports.
Chelsea are poised to sell Petr Cech to Arsenal later this week and Begovic has emerged as a potential replacement, with an approach expected in the next few days.
Begovic will cost around £8 million as he has only one year left on his contract, though Chelsea must convince the Bosnian that he will play enough games as understudy to Thibaut Courtois.
Stoke have identified Moses as a priority signing this summer and hope to agree a deal that will guarantee them cash plus the Chelsea winger in return for Begovic.
Moses impressed on loan at the Britannia Stadium this season, scoring four goals in 23 appearances before his spell was ended prematurely by a hamstring problem in April.
The Nigeria international turned down an approach from Jose Mourinho to return in January and watched Stoke’s final game of the season when they thrashed Liverpool 6-1.
He has spent the last two seasons on loan, at Liverpool and Stoke, and Mourinho will consider his sale this summer.
