Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has showered encomiums on Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe for his positive impact at the club, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The powerful forward scored a brace in the Black Cats 3-0 win against Hull City at the Stadium of Light.
It was the former Everton's man third goal in two games for David Moyes' men.
Pickford was quick to praise the Nigerian for his impact since his arrival on a free transfer in the summer.
"Vic has come in and grafts, he gives 100% and gets the fans going," Pickford told the Chronicle.
"When our fans are at their best, it is like an exra man for us on the pitch.
"If he keeps going the fans will be buzzing. It is a great outball for us. He holds the ball up really well.
"He is a good outball and helps us on set pieces too."
Sunderland will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool this weekend.
