Coach of Mamelodi Sundowns Pitso Mosimane has described Nigerian striker Stanley Ohawuchi as a handful for his team in the second leg final of the CAF Champions League against Zamalek on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Sundowns lost the tie 1-0 but won both legs 3-1 on aggregate to become the second South African side after Orlando Pirates to be crowned champions of Africa's elite club competition.
While appraising the game, Mosimane stated that the way Zamalek coach, Moamen Soliman, deployed Ohawuchi who scored Zamalek's goal, really troubled his side.
"The Zamalek coach surprised me by deploying a different tactic by playing Stanley (Ohawuchi) and Ayman Hefny, pushing the full backs out and they pressed us," Mosimane told cafonline.
"We had to deal with that and knew we would go out on the break. Khama Billiat was on the break but his decision making was not good. He created a lot of problems for Ali Gabr, who was eventually booked," Mosimane said.
It would be recalled that Ohawuchi was a member of coach Samson Siasia's Flying Eagles side that got to the second round of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
